I am delighted to be able to offer a range of gardening workshops again for this year. Details below for dates confirmed so far.
The next three workshops will take place at my own garden at Park Hill Farm, Harwood Dale, nr Scarborough.

Whether you are new to vegetable gardening, or have always found it tricky to work out when best to sow seeds, let Jan guide you through the growing season and how to plan for bountiful harvests.
From choosing the varieties you wish to grow, to making a plan for your own plot, find out how careful planning can make your life easier and your vegetable garden more successful.

Have you ever wished you could grow more of your own cut flowers?
Whether you wish to develop a specific cut flower garden, or else want to grow more plants suitable for cutting within your garden borders, this is the workshop for you.
From choosing suitable flowers, whether annuals, perennials, bulbs or shrubs, Jan will take you through the different options and discuss the pros and cons of each. There are a wide range of glorious blooms you can grow to suit your own garden conditions and we will investigate how best to grow your favourites to ensure a variety of colourful bouquets and posies throughout the seasons.

Wild about Flowers – creating meadows, traditional and modern.

Join us at Park Hill Farm to learn about creating and maintaining wildflower meadows, from traditional hay meadows through to colourful annual flower meadows. All drinks and a light vegetarian lunch will be provided.
£5.00 from the sale of every ticket will be donated to the North York Moors ‘Forgotten Flowers’ campaign which aims to reintroduce rare flowers back into various locations with the national park.
